O'Netsys is happy to announce that we have just won a contract to redesign the corporate website of "Saints on a Mission", a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting and building individuals and churches physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Founded in 1996 by Doug Barren Sr. It’s original intent was to be a one time trip by Bro. Doug, his Wife Doris their daughter, and four other members of their church. The mission was to raise money for Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Morvin, Ala. to have central air and heat installed. What started with 7 people and a van, has grown into a yearly mission trip with an average of 30 people on a charter bus. Saints on a Mission has been able to help several churches in that area.
The O'Netsys founder and CEO, John O'Neal, attended his first Saints on a Mission Alabama trip in April of 2009 and after witnessing, as well as participating on some of the work the organization was doing, John wanted to help. This lead to a discussion with Doug Barren, president of Saints on a Mission, and Janice Shaw, vice president, about some of the challenges they faced with their current website. John knew immediately that O'Netsys could help. After reviewing the current site and meeting with Doug and Janice once more, they decided to trust O'Netsys to help with their vision of growth and expansion for the Saints on a Mission organization.
